Welcome to the Website of the UK Visa Application Centres in Taiwan

The UK Visa Application Centres are officially authorized by the British Trade and Cultural Office in Taipei to accept applications for all categories of visa from Taiwan residents and visit visa applications (only) from applicants who are not normally resident. This site is designed to offer advice and guidance on the visa process and enable visa applicants to check the progress of their applications, on-line. It also contains important information on visa application procedures and related details. Please go through the contents carefully before making a visa application.

All visa applicants must complete an online visa application form and must submit their visa application in person at one of the two Visa Application Centres. We recommend you book an appointment prior to your visit to the UK Visa Application Centres.

You can also visit the Application Centres without an appointment between 0800 hrs to 1500 hrs (Monday - Friday) only. Applicants who chose to apply without a pre-booked appointment will be assigned to a queue. Please note that the number of applicants allowed into the regular queue may be restricted during peak seasons.

The UK Visa Application Centres perform a number of routine administrative tasks on behalf of the British Trade and Cultural Office, but have no involvement in the visa decision-making process. Guidance and advice is offered through a dedicated telephone and e-mail facility (see Contact us section).
