VFS Global is a commercial company, working in partnership
with UK Border Agency and the British Trade and Cultural
Office here in Taiwan providing services to help people
apply for UK visas.
- How Can We Help You?
You will find information on this site, supplied by UK Border
Agency, about how to apply for a visa for the UK. From this
site you can also use our free e-mail service to obtain
the same information. We also offer a telephone information
service.
Information about the UK's immigration rules and policies
can be found on the
UK Border Agency website.
VFS also manages a visa application centres for the
UK Border Agency here in Taiwan where you should submit
your application, your biometric fingerscans and pay the
application fee. The address details of the visa application
centre can be found in the Contact Us section of this website
- Where Can I Get Advice?
VFS Global and its staff cannot give you advice on how to
complete your application, or what type of visa you should
apply for. If you need help with your application or advice
about the UK's immigration rules and requirements, you should
seek advice from a qualified immigration adviser. In the
UK immigration advisers regulated by the Office of the Immigration
Services Commissioner (OISC - www.oisc.gov.uk).
You can also obtain advice from legally qualified professionals
regulated by designated professional bodies. A list of legally
qualified professionals who can advise on immigration matters
can be downloaded from the following websites:

Please note: The Law Societies of England, Wales,
Scotland and Northern Ireland and the Institute of Legal
Executives cannot provide direct help or advice on
visa applications. They can only provide a list of law firms
who can advise on immigration matters.
- Who Decides If I Will Get A Visa?
Your visa application will be processed and decided
by UK Border Agency staff. Neither VFS, nor any of our staff,
play any part in or influence the outcome of your visa application.
If any member of our staff claims to be able to influence
your application, you should inform the nearest UK
Border Agency at a British mission as soon as possible.
